This was not an easy trip.

But it was needed.

There were more questions presented than answers given and now I’m wondering if some of those answers just went in the grave with my aunt.

While that is what it is, there’s nothing like family.

I just hate that it takes a funeral to do that.

In keeping it simple today:

  • Thank God we made it home
  • I miss the hell out of my aunt and my family
  • And if somebody asks you to coordinate a family reunion, do it.

Do it boldly. Do it ugly. Do it virtual. Do it simple.

Just do it

And not like Nike either. Like you know your great aunt would. Do it in a manner that will make your ancestors proud and your grandma smile.

Time isn’t kind to anyone.

Don’t take it for granted and die with regrets.

Love on somebody today.

If you made it this far, text or call a loved one just to see how their day was.

A little goes a long way ✌️
